PM urged quality of education

ManamaPrime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday urged to support and encourage investment in Bahrain’s private education sector. 

Highlighting the need to attract more establishments in cooperation with the world universities, the Prime Minister also urged to keep up efforts to develop the capacities of the academic staff here.

Chairing regular weekly Cabinet session at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday, Prince Khalifa congratulated students and wished them every success for the academic year 2016-2017. 

During the session, the Premier directed the Education Ministry and the academic and administrative staff to implement government policies to improve the quality of
educational services.

Prince Khalifa  also directed them to develop the school curricula and launch more  projects based on Information and Communication Technology.

Besides, the PM urged to intensify efforts to open new classrooms for students with special needs, Cabinet Secretary-General, Dr. Yasser bin Isa Al Nasser, said in a statement following the session.

The Premier said this while commenting on a presentation given by the Minister of Education in which he highlighted the ministry’s preparations for the new school year and the development projects.
