GCC junior Badminton from tomorrow

The Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS)–VIVA GCC Junior Badminton Tournament is set to take place from tomorrow until Saturday at the BKS Diamond Jubilee Hall in Segaiya.
It is being organised by BKS in cooperation with the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation (BBSF) with VIVA Bahrain the tournament title sponsor and Al Marai the major sponsor.
Around 130 players have registered for the tournament, including 25 from Kuwait, 12 from Saudi Arabia, 10 from UAE and the rest of them from Bahrain. Among top ranked junior players in the fray are Mohammed Moanis and Abdullah Saheer from UAE.

The tournament features four events - boys/girls Singles and boys/girls doubles and will be in six age categories - Under 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19.
Trophies will be awarded to all winners and runner-ups and certificates issued to all participants . A draw was conducted on Monday and director of the event is Shanil Abdul Rahim.
The referee for this tournament is BAC accredited Ashley George and will be umpired by qualified BAC and national umpires from Bahrain.Entry is free on all days and BKS welcomes all badminton enthusiasts in the Kingdom to support the young talents who can well be the stars of the future.
