BTS to kick off world tour after landmark Seoul comeback

SEOUL: K-pop icons BTS officially launched their highly anticipated ‘ARIRANG’ world tour on Thursday, , with a sold-out performance at the Goyang Stadium. The tour opener follows the group's massive "reunion" concert held in March at Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square, which marked their first full-group performance in nearly four years following the completion of their mandatory military service.
The global tour is set to be the group's largest to date, supporting their fifth studio album, ARIRANG, which sold nearly four million copies on its first day of release. The tour itinerary spans 82 concerts across 34 cities through 2027, including stops in Tokyo, North America, Europe, and Latin America.
According to their label, HYBE, tickets for the initial legs in South Korea, the U.S., and Europe sold out within hours, with streaming giant Netflix reporting that the preceding Seoul comeback concert drew over 18 million viewers worldwide.
