Bahrain prepared to safeguard its security, says HRH Premier

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that the Kingdom of Bahrain was well prepared to safeguard its security and stability, develop its people’s living standard, health, housing and services and create an environment in which the citizens’ lives and property are not at risk.
“We are keen to reach out to the citizens all over the kingdom, identify their needs and fulfill them,” he said, adding that “all channels of communication are always kept open for the citizens so that we can listen to them directly.” “The same thing applies to the Press, for it is the beating heart of the people’s aspirations.”
“I feel happy when the citizens are satisfied with what the government provides to them. My happiness is related to theirs, and my comfort is related to theirs. I look forward to succeeding in achieving the Bahrainis’ aspirations and expectations,” he added.
HRH the Prime Minister made the statements as he received here yesterday a number of citizens, led by clerics, intellectuals, media persons and businessmen.
HRH Premier stressed that some practices taking place nowadays had nothing to do with the nature of the Bahraini people. “They are carried out by those who had been deceived and misguided to be tools of destruction in the hands of those who are dissatisfied with the nation-building and progress witnessed by the kingdom,” he explained.
HRH Premier pointed out that Bahrainis had always been proud of the respect they enjoyed wherever they were owing to the widely appreciated foreign policies adopted by their country. He also stressed the need to maintain and consolidate the kingdom’s prestigious reputation during the meeting.
