Trump Warns US Forces Will Remain Deployed Around Iran Until Ceasefire Terms Are Met

Washington D.C.: US President Donald Trump has said that US military assets will remain deployed in and around Iran until a “real agreement” on the ceasefire is fully implemented, warning of a strong response if terms are not met.

In a post on the platform Truth Social, Trump stated that US ships, aircraft and military personnel, along with additional weapons and ammunition, will stay in position to ensure compliance.

He warned that if the agreement fails, military action would resume at a significantly greater scale, while reiterating Washington’s long-standing demand that Iran must not develop nuclear weapons.

Trump also stressed that the Strait of Hormuz must remain open and secure, calling it a key condition of the broader agreement.

The post read: “All U.S. Ships, Aircraft, and Military Personnel, with additional Ammunition, Weaponry, and anything else that is appropriate and necessary for the lethal prosecution and destruction of an already substantially degraded Enemy, will remain in place in, and around, Iran, until such time as the REAL AGREEMENT reached is fully complied with. If for any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely, then the “Shootin’ Starts,” bigger, and better, and stronger than anyone has ever seen before. It was agreed, a long time ago, and despite all of the fake rhetoric to the contrary - NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS and, the Strait of Hormuz WILL BE OPEN & SAFE. In the meantime our great Military is Loading Up and Resting, looking forward, actually, to its next Conquest. AMERICA IS BACK!

The remarks come amid a fragile ceasefire and ongoing diplomatic efforts to prevent further conflict in the region.
