Cruise travellers increase by 28 per cent this year

Manama : Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA), in cooperation with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority, held a ceremony to mark the end of the cruise season in Bahrain by bidding farewell to the cruise “Artania” that had 661 travellers.

The number of cruise travellers who entered Bahrain this year increased by 28 per cent than last year.

The event held at the Khalifa bin Salman Port included the participation of the Police Band, Police Mount and traditional craftsmen. The NPRA presented memorial gifts to the travellers who expressed their joy of the hospitality of Bahrainis. 

The passport department processed the entry documents of 122,182 cruise travellers from November to April.
