National responsibility highlighted
Manama: Northern Governor, Ali bin Al Shaikh, yesterday stressed the importance of national responsibility to protect community from dangers.
He highlighted in a celebration to mark the Community Partnership Day at Hamad Town Secondary Girl School the importance of joint efforts to protect Bahraini society.
He thanked the Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan, General Director of Northern Governorate Police Brigadier Ibrahim Al-Sheeb and all policemen, hailing the role of community police personnel in promoting community partnership and the Education Ministry for hosting the event.
Director of Private Education and Acting Director of Secondary Education Ahlam Al-Aamer said 8250 students have been involved in the community service programme in the last 10 years.
