GCC Creativity meet to be organised in May

Manama: The GCC Creativity Conference 2016 titled “Innovating our future” will be held from May 8 to 9 at Intercontinental Regency Hotel Bahrain. HH Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports President Bahrain Athletics Association KHK MMA Founder will patronise the event.

The conference is organised by Innovating (Ebtikar) Society and Expressions Marketing Communications, in concert with the Arab Science and Technology Foundation, and in cooperation with a number of supporting institutions from the GCC. It is expected to attract over 300 participants from the GCC public and private sector.

The event targets topics of innovation and creativity in modern organisations and aims to develop a platform for creative talents in different sectors to meet and exchange experiences.

The conference will focus on defining creativity and spotting innovative talents in the workplace, and how to employ such talents in creating added-value organisations and innovative businesses. It will also discuss to create innovative solutions to cut operational costs, utilize talented human capital, and to set innovation strategies within modern enterprises.

Osama Alkhaja, Founder and President of Innovating Bahraini Society remarked: “It’s considered one of the ambitious initiatives that will focus and promote the concept of creativity. We also aim to develop a creative generation that is able to deal with changes and challenges of the world economy and to employ talents in the best position.”

He also thanked HH Shaikh Khalid for his continuous support for youth initiatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
