Bahrain’s Tourism Story Takes the Spotlight

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited Bahrain’s pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai.

Her Excellency Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, welcomed Shaikh Mohammed and said the visit reflects the strong and longstanding ties between Bahrain and the UAE.

During the visit, Shaikh Mohammed was briefed on Bahrain’s main tourism destinations, attractions and experiences being presented at the event.

He also learned about tourism projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening Bahrain’s position as a regional and international tourism destination.

Minister Al Sairafi said ATM provides an important opportunity for Bahrain to promote its tourism sector and build stronger ties with travel and tourism companies and professionals.

She also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between GCC countries in tourism.

Bahrain’s participation in ATM is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to promote its tourism destinations and experiences and connect with international companies and experts in the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors.
