Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received Simon Martin CMG, Chargé d’Affaires of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Bahrain.

Shaikh Khalid highlighted the historic Bahrain-UK relationship and stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation across various sectors.

The meeting also covered development projects, infrastructure cooperation, and issues of common interest, including regional and international developments.

Türkiye Ties Strengthened

Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received Dr Ayşe Hilal Sayan Koytak, the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bahrain. The meeting discussed shared interests and regional and international developments. Dr Koytak expressed appreciation for the support she received during her tenure and wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.

Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received Tirtha Raj Wagle, outgoing Ambassador of Nepal to Bahrain. Shaikh Khalid commended the strong Bahrain-Nepal relationship and its continued growth across various fields, while praising the ambassador’s efforts to advance bilateral cooperation. The meeting also addressed issues of mutual interest and regional and international developments. Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani received Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Reham Abdelhamid Mahmoud Khalil at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting reviewed the close fraternal relations between Bahrain and Egypt, and exchanged views on a number of issues and developments of mutual interest at the regional and international levels.
