Kuwaiti Youth and Sports Minister Visits Gadeha Junior Training Camp

 

Minister praises camp’s programmes focused on developing youth skills and confidence

Dr. Tareq Hamad Al-Jalahma, Kuwait’s Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, accompanied by Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi and Public Authority for Sports Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdulrahman Askar, visited the Gadeha Junior Training Camp at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The camp is held in partnership with the Royal Guard of the Bahrain Defence Force under the direction of National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the supervision of Royal Guard Special Operations Commander HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The delegation was received by Ahmed Al Shaikh, Chairman of the camp’s organising committee and Director of the Media Office of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

During the visit, the delegation toured the camp and reviewed its training programmes and activities, which focus on challenge, discipline, teamwork and life skills.

The programmes aim to strengthen participants’ self-confidence and independence, develop their sense of responsibility and enhance their ability to respond to different situations.

The delegation also reviewed practical challenges designed to improve concentration, quick response and teamwork, while providing participants with an environment that combines learning, practice and hands-on experience.

Dr. Al-Jalahma praised the quality of the programmes and experiences offered by the Gadeha Junior Training Camp, stressing the importance of investing in young people and developing their capabilities from an early age through programmes combining training, challenge and practical experience.
