Two Jailed for Violence During Iranian Attacks
High Criminal Court sentenced two defendants to three years in prison for committing acts of violence and vandalism during the Iranian attacks against the Kingdom of Bahrain in March. The court also ordered the pair to pay compensation for the damage caused and confiscated the seized items, according to the Head of the Terrorist Crimes Prosecution.
Public Prosecution investigations found that the defendants were caught at the scene after taking part in the offences. Following witness testimony and legal proceedings, the case was referred to the High Criminal Court, which delivered its verdict after several hearings. The Public Prosecution reaffirmed its commitment to taking firm legal action against anyone who threatens public security, stressing that acts of violence and vandalism will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
