Kingdom to host Inspiration Week

The third inspiration economy forum will be held in the Kingdom from February 1 to 5, in the presence of more than 50 ‘Inspiration Economy’ experts. 

The event held in Bahrain will also be the first time it is held outside Europe and is organised through the voluntary efforts of individuals in collaboration with the International Institute of Inspiration Economy. 

Learning by doing, best-practice sharing and official training from experts are the highlights of the event, and aims at creating inspiration even in difficult times. The forum is based on the voluntary participation of youths, scientists and researchers, who are inspired for the development of ‘’inspiration economy’. This is the third edition of the event.

Experts from more than 25 disciplines will hold lectures, mentorships and share best practices about entrepreneurship, innovation, creativity, resilience, coexistence-based education, behavioural wellbeing, socio-economy, and positive psychology during the event.  

The concept of Inspiration Economy was developed by Dr Mohamed Buheji , a Bahraini expert whose experience through a series of practical consultancies showed him that countries and societies and specially organisation in developing countries needs to get inspired to order to develop its capacity instead of the continual development of its resources.

The word inspiration economy’ according to Dr Buheji means raising the ability of any normal human being to contribute and even change positively his socio-economy circle through practices that are unique in thinking, spirit, focus, passion and most importantly, persistent mind-set that can see the big picture.

Due to the interest found by certain leading academics and practitioners on the subject Dr Buheji founded an academic peer reviewed journal called Inspiration Economy in 2013, in collaboration with University of Bahrain publication centre which helped to build a strong collaborative network of experts in this field that supported the foundation of International Institute of Inspiration Economy (IIIE).

A book authored by Dr. Buheji will be released during the forum.
