Netaj Khair Al Bahrain Graduates Empower Orphaned Students in Zanzibar

Graduates of Netaj Khair Al Bahrain Train Orphaned Students in Zanzibar in Handicrafts
Two mothers supported by the Royal Humanitarian Foundation and graduates of the Netaj Khair Al Bahrain program participated in a volunteer mission to an orphan school in the Republic of Zanzibar.

The initiative was organized by The Journey Adventures in collaboration with the Bahrain Youth Hostels Association, with the aim of equipping students with practical handicraft skills and empowering them through vocational training.
This marks the first participation of Netaj Khair Al Bahrain in such volunteer missions.

Two graduates from the program's handicrafts track were selected to share their practical expertise with the school's students, enabling them to acquire productive skills that will help them create handcrafted products for sale at the school's souvenir shop.

The initiative is designed to generate a sustainable source of income that supports the school's needs while promoting self-reliance.
Graduate Ms. Fatima Jamal is leading training sessions in embroidery, traditional Naqda embroidery, and sewing, while graduate Ms. Huda Eid is delivering hands-on instruction in the fundamentals and techniques of crochet.

Their training focuses on producing marketable handmade products, helping students develop practical skills with real economic value.
The initiative represents a unique experience for the two Netaj Khair Al Bahrain graduates, providing them with an opportunity to apply their craftsmanship and expertise in a new environment while strengthening their confidence in their ability to transfer knowledge and create a positive impact in the lives of others. It also highlights the authenticity and cultural value of Bahraini handicrafts, demonstrating their ability to transcend borders and connect with diverse communities and cultures.
