Bahrain to Host Fifth AI Governance Conference on Sunday

 
Global AI Experts to Gather Virtually for CIO200 Conference
 

Bahrain will host the fifth edition of the World CIO200 – Bahrain Edition conference on Sunday, bringing together global leaders, policymakers and technology experts to discuss the future of artificial intelligence (AI), digital governance and responsible innovation.

The virtual conference will feature senior executives, information technology specialists and digital transformation experts from Bahrain and abroad. Discussions will focus on emerging AI technologies, digital leadership, governance frameworks, ethical AI adoption and international best practices.

According to Dr. Jassim Haji, President of the Global AI Group, the conference will open with a keynote address by His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council. The programme will also include presentations by experts from Italy, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, providing insights into AI regulation, governance and the evolving global digital landscape.

Held under the theme "AI Governance and Ethics," the conference aims to promote international dialogue on the responsible development and use of artificial intelligence. Sessions will examine how governments, businesses and technology leaders can strengthen trust, transparency and accountability while encouraging innovation.

Dr. Haji said the event has become an important international platform for exchanging knowledge on AI governance and addressing the ethical and legislative challenges emerging alongside rapid technological advancements.
