Unattended heater sets flat ablaze in Riffa
Fire from an unattended heater destroyed a residential flat in Riffa.
Interior Ministry said “Civil Defence rescued 14 residents of the building from the fire caused by the heater.” The residential flat was located on the ground floor of the building.
Civil Defence Director General Brigadier Mohammed Showaiter confirmed in a press statement that “only damage was reported and also no injuries.”
