Toy Festival Set for Grand Return

The Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), in collaboration with Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, is bringing back the Bahrain Summer Toy Festival for its third edition. The experience will take place at Exhibition World Bahrain from 2 July to 5 August 2026

The largest and most exciting yet, this year's event builds on the success of the previous two editions, with expanded spaces and new interactive shows making their Bahrain debuts, including ‘The Haunted House’, a live theatrical production running from 15 to 18 July 2026 that adds a new layer of suspense and excitement to the festival programme.

BTEA CEO Sarah Ahmed Buhejji said: "This year’s edition features new attractions, entertainment, and memorable experiences for families of all ages. The festival forms part of our ongoing efforts to enrich Bahrain’s tourism offering and provide diverse experiences for citizens, residents, and visitors from across the GCC, while contributing to increased tourism activity during the summer season.”

“The Bahrain Summer Toy Festival has become one of the Kingdom’s leading family events, further strengthening Bahrain’s position as a premier family entertainment destination in the region and enhancing the range of experiences available to visitors,” she added.

The festival is built around four themed ‘Lands’, each designed for a different age group, and the main stage will host a full programme of live shows throughout the summer, including productions inspired by Shaun the Sheep, Felfoul, Jamal Jamal, and Zaghaleel, alongside interactive performances that combine entertainment and learning.

The festival will also welcome some of the region’s most beloved artists. Rasha Rizk, whose voice defined a generation of Arabic animated classics, will perform alongside Tarek Al Arabi Tourgane, one of the most influential composers in Arabic animation. The programme also includes Emilia Jaber and Fun for Little Ones, a live stage experience inspired by the internationally popular Ms. Rachel show.
