Man Arrested Over AI-Generated Misleading Social Media Content

The Ministry of Interior has announced the arrest of a 27-year-old individual for allegedly misusing social media platforms by publishing content created using artificial intelligence technologies.
According to the ministry, the content contained false claims, misleading information and fabricated scenes. Authorities said the material also included offensive and inciting content that could influence public opinion and negatively impact civil peace and community stability.
The arrest was carried out by the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security as part of efforts to combat the spread of false and harmful online content.
Legal action has been taken against the suspect, who will be referred to the Public Prosecution for further proceedings.
