Study in Japan Opportunity
The Embassy of Japan in Bahrain has announced the opening of applications for the MEXT Scholarship 2027 under the “Research Students (Postgraduate Students)” category. The programme offers Bahraini students the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies at Japanese universities. Eligible applicants must be born on or after April 2, 1992, and hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree with at least 16 years of formal education. Final-year master’s students are also eligible to apply. The scholarship covers round-trip travel between Bahrain and Japan, full tuition fees, and a monthly stipend. The application deadline is Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 9:00 am. Only hand-delivered physical documents will be accepted at the embassy. The first round of screening will take place on July 6, 2026.
