Bahrain Ambassador to Germany Attends 2026 International Sudan Conference in Berlin
Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainis, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Germany, represented Bahrain at the third International Sudan Conference 2026 held in Berlin.
The high-level conference was co-organised by the European Union, alongside Germany, the France, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the African Union.
The event brought together senior international figures, including António Guterres and Kaja Kallas, as well as foreign ministers and representatives from 55 countries and civil society organisations.
Discussions focused on the situation in Sudan, with participants calling for an immediate ceasefire and full compliance with international humanitarian law. The conference also stressed the importance of ensuring unrestricted humanitarian access across Sudanese territories, while advancing efforts to revive the peace process and reach a sustainable political solution to the ongoing conflict.
