Bahrain Hajj Mission Reviews Preparations Ahead of 2026 Pilgrimage Season

Committees from the Bahrain Hajj Mission carried out a field inspection in Makkah and surrounding holy sites as part of ongoing preparations for the 2026/1447H Hajj season.

The visit focused on evaluating accommodation and camps designated for Bahraini pilgrims, ensuring their readiness ahead of the pilgrimage. Specialised teams assessed various facilities, with the evaluation and follow-up committee inspecting buildings and services, while the security committee reviewed compliance with safety and civil defence regulations.

Preparations for pilgrimage camps were also examined by the planning committee, in coordination with representatives of Bahraini Hajj tour operators. The inspections included checks on infrastructure, structural installations, and ongoing development work at the sites.

Officials and tour operators reaffirmed their commitment to completing all arrangements to the highest standards, aiming to provide a safe and comfortable experience for Bahraini pilgrims. They also highlighted the importance of coordination with relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia to ensure smooth and efficient performance of Hajj rituals.
