GCC, Jordan Envoys Hold Talks with Turkish Parliament Speaker

Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, accredited to the Republic of Türkiye, held a high-level meeting with Professor Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, at the parliament headquarters in the capital, Ankara. The meeting was chaired by Ambassador Bassam Ahmed Marzooq, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Türkiye, in his capacity as representative of the current presidency of the 46th session of the GCC.
Discussions focused on the latest regional developments, particularly in light of recent Iranian attacks targeting GCC countries and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and their implications for regional security and stability.
The ambassadors stressed that the security of GCC states is indivisible, underscoring that the safety and stability of their peoples remain a cornerstone of regional security. They reviewed the consequences of the attacks, which targeted civilian facilities, service infrastructure, and residential areas, resulting in loss of life and property damage.
