GCC Ambassadors Discuss Hormuz Risks with China

GCC ambassadors in Beijing held a series of meetings with senior Chinese officials to discuss regional developments and strengthen cooperation.
The meetings were led by Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Mohammed Adnan Shaikho, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to China and current chair of the GCC Ambassadors Council in Beijing. He was joined by GCC ambassadors accredited to China.
Key topics included Gulf regional tensions, concerns over Iranian actions, and the potential global economic impact of any disruption to the Strait of Hormuz. The sides also explored ways to enhance bilateral and multilateral coordination.
The Bahraini ambassador also met with Jordan’s ambassador in Beijing to discuss matters of mutual interest.
