HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, held a telephone call on Sunday with Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah of Kuwait to discuss recent regional developments.
During the call, Bahrain strongly condemned the recent Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait, which resulted in injuries to ten members of the Kuwaiti armed forces. The strikes also hit Kuwait International Airport, along with several civilian, economic, and vital infrastructure facilities.
His Royal Highness reaffirmed Bahrain’s unwavering solidarity with Kuwait, emphasizing full support for all measures taken to protect the country’s sovereignty, security, stability, and territorial integrity.
The Crown Prince also conveyed his wishes for a swift recovery for those injured and expressed hopes for the continued safety, stability, and prosperity of Kuwait and its people.
The discussion further highlighted the strong and longstanding ties between Bahrain and Kuwait, while also addressing regional and international developments, as well as issues of mutual interest.
