Final day today for BCCI election applications

The Elections Committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) for its 31st session has announced that today is the deadline for submitting candidacy applications for membership to the Chamber’s Board of Directors, as preparations continue for the upcoming elections.

The committee said the number of applicants has reached 25 so far, adding that it is continuing to review submissions to ensure all candidates meet the criteria set out in the Chamber’s law and executive regulations. The final list of approved candidates will be announced following the completion of this process.

Nomination

It urged members of the business and industrial community to complete their nomination procedures before the deadline, stressing the importance of active participation in the electoral process as a reflection of the private sector’s awareness and its role in supporting the national economy.

The committee also confirmed that elections for the Board of Directors for the 31st session will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre in Sakhir, calling on Chamber members to engage positively in the event.
