ABU DHABI: Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have confirmed that a Palestinian civilian was killed on Monday after a missile struck a residential area in the capital city of Abu Dhabi. The incident, which occurred in the Al Bahyan district, involved a missile falling directly onto a civilian vehicle.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office verified the casualty in a statement released on the social media platform X, identifying the deceased as an individual of Palestinian nationality.
"The public is advised to obtain information only from official sources and to avoid spreading rumours or unverified information," the office stated, as it seeks to manage public safety and prevent the circulation of unconfirmed reports during the ongoing investigation.
