Bahrain Defence Chief Meets UK’s Senior Defence Adviser for Middle East
The Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received the UK’s Senior Defence Adviser for the Middle East, Rear Admiral Edward Ahlgren, and his accompanying delegation during a meeting held today.
The meeting was attended by Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs; Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force; and Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Adviser for Financial and Technical Affairs at the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force.
During the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief welcomed the British defence adviser and his delegation, highlighting the longstanding friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom.
He noted that the relationship between the two countries is built on deep historical foundations and praised the continued development of bilateral cooperation across various sectors. Particular emphasis was placed on the exchange of expertise and ongoing collaboration in the military and defence fields.
The meeting also reflected the shared commitment of both nations to strengthening defence cooperation and advancing their strategic partnership.
