HM Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa delivered a royal address marking the final ten days of the holy month of Ramadan, highlighting Bahrain’s national unity, commitment to peace, and recent regional developments.

In his address, His Majesty expressed gratitude for the strong sense of national cohesion enjoyed in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that the country continues to stand as a model of coexistence where people of different religions and beliefs live together in harmony.

The King emphasized that Bahrain’s society is built on values of tolerance, mutual respect, and understanding—principles that have been preserved by generations and remain central to the Kingdom’s identity.

His Majesty also expressed regret over what he described as unprecedented attacks targeting Bahrain as well as several brotherly and friendly nations, stating that such acts by Iran cannot be justified under any circumstances.

HM King Hamad reaffirmed that Bahrain has always been a nation of peace and has never sought hostility with any country, instead consistently pursuing cooperation and good neighbourly relations.

The King praised the readiness and vigilance demonstrated by the Bahrain Defence Force and all relevant security authorities, commending their responsible and decisive efforts in confronting threats and safeguarding the Kingdom’s security, as well as the safety of citizens and residents.

His Majesty also expressed deep appreciation to the people of Bahrain for their sincere expressions of loyalty and national belonging during these sensitive times, noting that their unity and resilience remain a source of strength for the nation.

The King further highlighted the strong solidarity shown by Gulf countries, praising the brotherly support extended by members of the Gulf Cooperation Council. He added that Bahrain had received numerous calls from friendly and allied nations around the world expressing full support for the Kingdom’s security and stability.

Despite regional challenges, His Majesty affirmed that Bahrain will remain committed to a path of wisdom and moderation while continuing to fulfil its responsibilities toward the Arab region and the wider international community.

The King also noted Bahrain’s participation in international peace efforts, including initiatives aimed at supporting reconstruction in Gaza, reflecting the Kingdom’s continued commitment to promoting peace, stability, and development.

Marking the national celebration of the Year of Isa the Great, His Majesty directed constitutional institutions to intensify efforts to protect national values, strengthen development initiatives, and continue advancing Bahrain’s reform and modernization journey.

Concluding his address, HM King Hamad extended greetings to citizens and residents ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr, praying for continued security, prosperity, and progress for Bahrain and its people.
