Education Minister inspects Muharraq University after missile fragment strike

H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Higher Education Council, conducted a field visit to a university in the Muharraq area that sustained material damage from Missile fragments caused by indiscriminate attacks targeting civilian facilities—part of Iran’s reprehensible actions.

During the visit, Dr. Juma emphasized the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Council’s commitment to supporting all educational institutions and their members, providing full care and attention in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who prioritize education.

Accompanied by Higher Education Council officials, he met with university management and staff, checked on those injured during the attack, and wished them a speedy recovery. He also inspected the facilities affected by the damage.

Dr. Juma praised the swift and professional response of civil defense teams and relevant authorities for securing the site, protecting public safety, and preserving property.

He affirmed that educational activities across Bahrain continue as usual through digital platforms, commending the dedication and efforts of all educational and teaching staff in ensuring uninterrupted learning.
