Digital government services amid current circumstances

The Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) has confirmed that services for ID cards, civil registry, addresses, and birth and death certificates are fully accessible electronically.

he Authority emphasised that these digital services enable individuals to complete their transactions safely and efficiently.

They also highlighted that the services minimise the need to visit physical offices while ensuring the continuity of essential government services.

These services are available through the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national portal, bahrain. bh, and via the MyGov application, downloadable from the eGovernment app store at bahrain.bh/apps.

The Authority urged the public to use these digital channels to complete their transactions safely and efficiently. For individuals facing difficulties with online services, iGA provides remote customer support.

Appointments can be scheduled through iga.gov.bh to receive assistance via video call from Authority representatives for all identity.
