Joint Efforts to Enhance National Security
Major General Dr. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Police, chaired the Bahraini side at the fifth meeting of the Security Committee Working Groups, part of the Bahrain-Saudi Security Coordination Committee under the Bahrain-Saudi Coordination Council. The Saudi delegation was led by Mr. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Issa, Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Interior.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chief of Police highlighted the deep, longstanding fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing them as a key pillar for enhancing security coordination and integration. He also emphasized the importance of the working group meetings in expanding avenues for cooperation and joint coordination, which contribute to improving collective security performance and safeguarding national achievements.
The meeting agenda included discussions on various topics aimed at developing security cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries. The participants also reviewed ongoing initiatives, examined proposals for new initiatives, and explored ways to strengthen collaboration in the security domain.
