Bahrain Eyes Deeper U.S. Ties Through Strategic Agreements

His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, affirmed the deep historical and strategic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, noting their continuous growth under the guidance and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and U.S. President Donald Trump.

His Excellency highlighted the importance of building on the achievements of bilateral relations and continuing to strengthen cooperation and coordination across various fields, contributing to the mutual interests of the two friendly nations and supporting regional development and stability.

The remarks came during a meeting at Al-Qudaibiya Palace with Her Excellency Stephanie L. Hallett, the newly accredited U.S. Ambassador to Bahrain, on the occasion of her appointment.

During the meeting, His Excellency welcomed Ambassador Hallett and wished her success in her mission, expressing confidence that her work would further reinforce the strong ties of cooperation and friendship that have flourished between Bahrain and the United States over decades.

He noted that joint agreements form a solid foundation for developing the existing partnership and emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to utilizing these frameworks to expand bilateral collaboration, particularly in vital economic and investment sectors, benefiting both countries and peoples.

The discussion also covered regional and international developments and matters of mutual interest.

For her part, Ambassador Hallett expressed gratitude for the warm reception and reiterated her country’s commitment to continuing joint efforts with Bahrain to advance strategic bilateral relations, aiming to achieve shared goals, while wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
