Bahrain and Bermuda Expand Trade & Maritime Links
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, emphasized the shared commitment to strengthening and expanding the cooperative and partnership ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Bermuda, aiming to promote growth, prosperity, and mutual aspirations. His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of continuing efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination, taking bilateral relations to new heights across all fields to achieve shared goals.
This came during a meeting today at Al-Qudaibiya Palace with His Excellency Edward David Burt, Prime Minister of Bermuda. The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and several senior officials.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness underscored the significance of advancing cooperation between Bahrain and Bermuda to more advanced levels and continuously developing bilateral coordination. These efforts aim to create future opportunities across various sectors, serving shared objectives and bringing growth and progress for all.
Key announcements made during the meeting included:

Granting Bermuda sovereign rights over subscriber data in Bahrain’s cloud computing centers.

Issuing Bermuda a partner certification for maritime and air freight services in Bahrain.

Allowing Bermuda passport holders to obtain a visa on arrival in Bahrain.
The discussions also covered ways to further bilateral cooperation, updates on regional and international developments, and other matters of mutual interest.
Following the meeting, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, along with the Prime Minister of Bermuda, toured the Prime Minister’s Office.
