Tubli Walkway Hosts Vibrant National Day Celebration

The Friends of Tubli Walkway organized a grand community event to mark the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day. The celebration, which began at 7:00 AM, drew a large turnout of families and residents gathered to express their solidarity and patriotism for their host country.

The festivities launched with a ceremonial march-past featuring the national flag, followed by a community breakfast and a cake-cutting ceremony. The morning program included various recreational games and sports activities designed to engage members of all ages.

The formal session was presided over by the organization’s President, Shams VP, with General Secretary Muhammed Shafeer PK delivering the welcome address. Noted social worker Najeeb Kadalayi officially inaugurated the event. Distinguished guests in attendance included Mustafa Sunil and CH Rasheed Maahi, while felicitations were offered by Vice President Baburaj, Advisory Board Member Sreejith, and Founder Member Bibin Madathath.

Moderated by Salim Thayyil, the session featured speakers who emphasized that such gatherings are instrumental in fostering unity and friendship within the expatriate community. The event was successfully managed by a dedicated coordination team and executive members. The celebration concluded at 10:00 AM with a vote of thanks delivered by Treasurer Shabeer, marking a memorable tribute to the Kingdom.
