Bahrain and Kuwait Reaffirm Deep-Rooted Ties and Media Cooperation

His Excellency Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Bahrain’s Minister of Information, recently highlighted the profound fraternal relations and historical ties that unite the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait. During a formal meeting, Dr. Al Nuaimi emphasized that the solid foundations of cooperation and integration between the two nations continue to thrive under the dedicated patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait.

The discussions with His Excellency Abdulrahman Baddah Al-Mutairi, Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, focused on practical ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across the media and cultural sectors. Both ministers explored the exchange of professional expertise to further develop joint media initiatives, ensuring a unified and professional message that strengthens the regional and international presence of both nations.

Beyond bilateral growth, the meeting addressed the evolving challenges within the global media landscape. The ministers discussed the importance of enhancing Gulf media coordination to keep pace with rapid digital transformations and modern industry shifts. This strategic alignment aims to ensure that regional media remains resilient and responsive to current global trends.

Following the meeting, the delegation toured the Ministry of Information complex, where Minister Al-Mutairi visited the National Communication Center, the News Center’s main studio, and the Bahrain Radio building. Minister Al-Mutairi expressed his sincere appreciation for the warm reception and commended the Kingdom of Bahrain for its remarkable development in the media sector. He concluded by praising Bahrain’s proactive role in fostering Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) unity and serving the shared interests of the region.
