The sacrifices of Bahrain’s fallen servicemen will remain a source of national pride and a guiding example for future generations.
This was emphasised by Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, during the Commemoration Day ceremony yesterday.
The event, held in the presence of His Highness Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Operations, senior officers, non-commissioned officers, members of the Royal Guard, and a number of Bahrain Defence Force officers, marked a solemn tribute to those who gave their lives in defence of the Kingdom.
Occasion
“Commemoration Day is a national occasion of lasting significance that embodies the highest values of sacrifice, honouring the heroism of Bahrain’s fallen servicemen who gave their lives in defence of the country, its leadership and its people,” HH Shaikh Nasser said.
“Their sacrifices will remain a source of pride and a guide for future generations.”
Highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to the families of the fallen, HH Shaikh Nasser noted: “Under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and with the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, we provide care and support to the families of fallen servicemen, appreciating their sacrifices and protecting their rights.”
He added: “The great sacrifices made by Bahrain’s fallen servicemen will remain present in the conscience of the nation and serve as a testament to their courage, bravery, and dedication in performing their national duty.”
Dedication
HH Shaikh Nasser also underscored the ongoing dedication of Bahrain’s personnel across military and security sectors, saying: “Our personnel continue on the same path, with determination and strong will, to protect the nation and defend its achievements in all circumstances.”
“Commemoration Day will remain a symbol of national unity and a renewal of the pledge to continue working sincerely to preserve Bahrain’s security and stability,” he emphasised.
The ceremony served not only as a tribute to Bahrain’s fallen heroes but also as a reminder of the enduring values of loyalty, bravery, and national service that continue to guide the Kingdom’s armed forces.
