Bahraini Women Key Pillars in Industry and Commerce, Says Minister
Bahrain’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, said that Bahraini Women’s Day is a way to honor the efforts of Bahraini women and highlight their contributions to the country’s development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The minister praised the continuous efforts of the Supreme Council for Women, chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, noting their role in supporting Bahraini women and strengthening their leadership in various fields. He emphasized the ministry’s commitment to continuing to provide opportunities and support for women in line with Bahrain’s strategic vision.
He also said that Bahraini women have proven over the years to be a vital part of different sectors, especially in industry and commerce, contributing their expertise and initiatives to support the national economy, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The ministry seeks to support all initiatives that help advance women’s progress.
