Bahrain, Trinidad & Tobago Sign Visa Exemption Deal for Diplomatic Passports
Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, today received Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and CARICOM Affairs, Amery “Shawn” S. M. Sobers, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during his visit to the Kingdom.
The meeting discussed the strong friendship and bilateral cooperation between Bahrain and Trinidad and Tobago across various sectors. Both sides explored ways to further strengthen ties and support shared interests, in addition to reviewing regional and international issues of mutual concern.
During the visit, the two countries signed an agreement to exempt holders of diplomatic passports from visa requirements.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Shaikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director-General of Bilateral Affairs at the Ministry, Ali Khalid Al Arifi, Head of the Madar Center, and Salman Hassan Al Jalahma, Head of the Americas Affairs Sector.
