Bahrain Emerges as Regional Real Estate Hub

The fourth edition of Cityscape Bahrain 2025, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, continues to solidify the Kingdom’s position as a leading hub for major international real estate events.

Eng. Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf, Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), highlighted the strong participation of local, regional, and international developers, reflecting growing confidence in Bahrain’s rapidly evolving real estate market. He emphasized that these achievements are the result of the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the continuous guidance of the Crown Prince, which have propelled Bahrain’s real estate sector as a model of sustainable development and a magnet for quality investment.

Eng. Khalaf expressed gratitude to the Crown Prince for inaugurating the exhibition at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre in Sakhir, noting that such support underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing the real estate sector’s role in driving economic growth.

The event serves as a prominent platform bringing together sector leaders and investors under one roof, showcasing the latest projects and trends that align with rapid developments in the regional and international real estate markets, further boosting Bahrain’s position as a competitive and attractive investment destination.

Meanwhile, Eng. Ibrahim Mohammed Abul, CEO of RERA, also thanked the Crown Prince for his patronage, stressing that such support motivates continued innovation and development in the real estate sector, a key driver of economic growth.

Eng. Abul reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to implementing strategies that enhance the regulatory environment, create new investment opportunities, and support sustainable growth aligned with Bahrain’s comprehensive development goals.

He added that the fourth edition of Cityscape Bahrain features extensive participation from local, regional, and international developers, along with a dedicated dialogue platform in the main hall designed to facilitate the exchange of expertise and highlight emerging trends in real estate development and investment.
