iGA Equal Opportunities Committee Holds Third Meeting

The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) held the third meeting of its Equal Opportunities Committee, chaired by iGA Chief Executive Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, reinforcing the Authority’s commitment to a fair, inclusive, and empowering workplace.

During the session, Al Qaed welcomed committee members and commended their efforts in promoting equal opportunities and enhancing employee satisfaction. He emphasized the importance of adopting innovative strategies to continuously improve the work environment.

The committee reviewed a draft governance report for the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women 2025–2026 and considered employee feedback aimed at strengthening gender equality within iGA’s operations. Discussions also focused on the results of the employee satisfaction survey and explored initiatives to highlight staff achievements, volunteer contributions, and success stories that foster teamwork and excellence.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to cultivating a motivating and inclusive work environment, supporting employees, and empowering Bahraini women in a manner that ensures fairness, efficiency, and long-term professional and social stability.
