Bahrain Strengthens Global Security Ties at INTERPOL Assembly

Bahrain’s delegation, headed by Adel bin Khalifa Al-Fadhel, Deputy Minister of Interior, took part in the 93rd General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) held in Marrakech, Morocco. The event brought together representatives from INTERPOL member states to discuss international policing and security cooperation.

Bahrain’s participation underscores the kingdom’s commitment to supporting global efforts to combat crime and strengthen security collaboration between countries, contributing to regional and international stability.

During the assembly, key topics were discussed, including enhancing international cooperation in fighting organized crime, asset recovery, and data protection. Delegates also reviewed INTERPOL’s strategic directions for 2026–2030 and approved several organizational and administrative decisions aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of international policing.

The session also featured elections for the INTERPOL President and several members of the Executive Committee, further shaping the organization’s leadership for the coming years.
