Bahrain Doubles Down on Tech Innovation with New Ari Innovation Hub

Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company, H.E. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, affirmed that strengthening innovation and modern technologies has become essential to enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy and driving sustainable development.

He highlighted that empowering various sectors to adapt to rapid technological changes and adopt advanced digital solutions is critical for long-term growth. The Minister noted that local companies play a pivotal role in creating cutting-edge digital solutions that elevate Bahrain’s position in future technology fields and contribute to the nation’s progressive development goals. These efforts align with the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The remarks came as the Minister inaugurated the new headquarters of Ari Innovation, a subsidiary of the local investment group Mumtalakat. The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Cabinet Affairs H.E. Hamad bin Faisal Al Maliki, Mumtalakat CEO H.E. Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Tamkeen CEO Maha Abdulhameed Mofeez, and members of the boards of Mumtalakat and Ari Innovation.

During his tour, the Minister was briefed on the company’s operations, its upcoming projects in digital solutions and innovative consultancy services, and its planned initiatives aimed at strengthening its contribution to Bahrain’s digital innovation ecosystem. He also met with members of the board, the CEO, and employees of Ari Innovation.

H.E. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa emphasized that Ari Innovation is a valuable addition to Mumtalakat’s portfolio, noting its important role in supporting Bahrain’s technological advancement. He extended his best wishes to the company’s team for continued success in achieving their strategic goals.
