HM King Receives Omani Interior Minister in Manama
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, expressed the Kingdom’s pride in the strong fraternal ties and historic relations that unite Bahrain and the sisterly Sultanate of Oman. These relations continue to grow stronger and more distinguished, reflecting the shared commitment to enhancing cooperation across all fields.
His Majesty received today at Al-Safriya Palace His Excellency Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior of the Sultanate of Oman, who visited the Kingdom at the invitation of His brother, Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Interior. During the meeting, the Omani Minister conveyed greetings and appreciation from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, along with his best wishes for Bahrain and its people for continued progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty the King.
King Hamad warmly welcomed the Omani Minister and asked him to convey his greetings and sincere wishes to Sultan Haitham for good health and happiness, and to the Omani people for continued development and prosperity.
His Majesty emphasized the importance of such fraternal visits in strengthening cooperation, coordination, and joint efforts at all levels, particularly in the security sector, to achieve mutual benefits and consolidate the historic brotherly relations between the two nations.
King Hamad also praised the leading role of Sultan Haitham in fostering and developing the distinguished relations between Bahrain and Oman, as well as the ongoing civilizational and developmental renaissance in the Sultanate under his leadership.
During the meeting, both sides discussed recent regional developments and key international issues of mutual interest.
For his part, Minister Al Busaidi expressed his gratitude to His Majesty for the warm reception and generous hospitality, highlighting his deep appreciation for King Hamad’s efforts to strengthen the historic bonds and cooperative ties between Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman.
