PMO Launches Seventh Edition of “Fikra” Competition

In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has announced the opening of submissions for the seventh edition of the Government Innovation Competition, “Fikra,” which will run from 2 November to 3 December 2025.

The “Fikra” competition seeks to foster creativity among the Kingdom’s national workforce and advance government workstreams in support of Bahrain’s comprehensive development, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Building on the success of its previous editions, the seventh round aims to further strengthen innovation within the public sector, enhance service delivery, and embed a culture of creativity across government institutions.

Public sector employees and government enterprises are invited to submit their ideas—either individually or in teams of up to four members - through the PMO’s official website at www.pmo.gov.bh.

Proposals should focus on ways to improve the efficiency, quality, and performance of government services. All submissions will undergo an initial evaluation by members of the competition’s assessment committee to determine their eligibility and impact potential.
