ASU Partners with W.I.S.E University to Launch Four PhD Programmes
Applied Science University (ASU) has strengthened its academic and research presence by signing a cooperation agreement with the World Islamic Sciences and Education University (W.I.S.E) in Jordan. The partnership includes the launch of four new PhD programmes in Business Administration, Accounting, Public Law, and Private Law.
The agreement aims to enhance academic collaboration, promote scientific research, and exchange expertise between the two universities. It also supports their shared goal of preparing highly qualified graduates who can contribute to sustainable development and meet future job market needs.
The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Rami Saleh Wreikat Al-Adwan, Jordan’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Professor Waheeb Al Khaja, Chairman of ASU’s Board of Trustees, Professor Hatem Masri, President of ASU, and Professor Jaafar Al-Fanatseh, President of W.I.S.E.
Professor Al Khaja noted that the partnership aligns with ASU’s vision to expand regional cooperation and promote educational excellence. He added that investing in graduate studies is key to developing future leaders and innovators.
Professor Masri highlighted that the agreement reflects ASU’s commitment to expanding postgraduate education and meeting academic and industry demands through high-quality learning and research opportunities.
Professor Al-Fanatseh commended ASU’s reputation and said the collaboration represents a model for strong academic partnerships that encourage innovation and knowledge exchange.
The agreement is expected to open new opportunities for researchers and students, strengthen scientific output, and enhance both universities’ roles as leading centres of learning in the Arab world.
