WMC Toastmasters Marks 22 Years of Leadership and Excellence in Bahrain

TDT I Manama

WMC Toastmasters, one of Bahrain’s most distinguished and long-standing Toastmasters clubs, celebrated its 22nd anniversary at the InterContinental Regency Hotel in a grand event honoring its legacy of leadership, eloquence, and community service.

The milestone celebration was led by TM Roy Skaria, the current Club President, and TM Dr. Babu Ramachandran, the Charter President, reflecting the club’s enduring spirit of growth, learning, and service. Founded in 2003, WMC Toastmasters joined Toastmasters International, a global organization dedicated to empowering individuals to speak confidently and lead with impact. The club was established by TM A.S. Jose, with TM Dr. Babu Ramachandran serving as its first President, TM Mathew Oommen as Club Mentor, and TM T.L. Joy as Club Sponsor.

Over the past two decades, WMC Toastmasters has become a hub for communication and leadership excellence in Bahrain, nurturing professionals from diverse backgrounds to find their voice and inspire others.

Reaffirming its commitment beyond public speaking, the club recently engaged in a community initiative. On October 4, 2025, members and their families visited the Al Areen Park and Wildlife Reserve to mark World Animal Day, spreading the vital message: “Save Animals, Save the Planet.”

With 22 years of dedication, transformation, and empowerment, WMC Toastmasters continues to stand as a beacon of personal growth, leadership, and community spirit in Bahrain. The club meets on the first and third Fridays of each month at the InterContinental Regency Hotel, welcoming anyone eager to enhance their communication, leadership, and public speaking skills.
