Three job offers for every Bahraini job seeker by year-end.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has directed the Ministry of Labour to ensure that every registered Bahraini job seeker is offered three employment opportunities before the end of 2025.
The directive came during a work meeting chaired by His Royal Highness at Gudaibiya Palace to review progress on employment initiatives.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister stressed that providing meaningful job opportunities for citizens remains one of the Kingdom’s top national priorities, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He affirmed that Bahraini citizens continue to stand at the core of Bahrain’s comprehensive development efforts.
Highlighting the achievements of the national workforce, HRH Prince Salman expressed pride in their dedication and contribution to the Kingdom’s growth across generations — from pearl diving, oil and gas, and banking, to today’s thriving sectors such as communications, IT, and tourism. He noted that Bahrainis’ skills and competencies have positioned them as a key factor attracting investment and driving economic progress.
The Crown Prince reaffirmed that Bahrain will continue to invest in its people, ensuring citizens remain central to national development and prosperity. He also underlined the importance of the private sector as the primary engine of economic growth and a vital partner to the public sector under Team Bahrain.
Senior officials attending the meeting included HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister; HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; HE Ghanim bin Fadhel Al Buainain, Minister of Shura and Representatives Council Affairs; HE Yusif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour; HE Hamad bin Faisal Al-Maliki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Deputy Chairman of Tamkeen; HE Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development; and HE Sameer Abdulla Nass, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
