The Ministry of Interior announced that the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, in cooperation with the Information & eGovernment Authority, has added Good Conduct Certificate services to the MyGov application, available to the public through the government apps store at bahrain.bh/apps.

The new digital services include the ability to request a Good Conduct Certificate for citizens and residents, apply for a certificate for non-Bahrainis outside the Kingdom, track the status of applications, and allow institutions to verify the validity of certificates. The app also provides general information about the service.

The Directorate encouraged students, employees, and other beneficiaries to make use of this package of services through MyGov for easier and faster online applications. Applicants are required to use the upgraded eKey 2.0 available on bahrain.bh/apps.

In addition, GCC citizens and expatriates who have previously resided in Bahrain for six months or more, and who held a national ID number and registered fingerprint during their stay, can also apply electronically for their certificates through the service for foreigners outside Bahrain, now available on the MyGov app.

The Ministry stressed that the launch of these services reflects ongoing cooperation with the Information & eGovernment Authority to support the government’s vision of unifying digital services and enhancing the MyGov app with priority features for users. The Ministry also praised the Authority’s efforts in advancing digital transformation and improving service delivery to raise the efficiency of government performance.

Currently, the MyGov application provides more than 80 government services. Users can download it via bahrain.bh/apps or access services through the national portal bahrain.bh. For more information, the public can contact the Government Services Call Center at 80008001, or submit suggestions and feedback through the national complaints system Tawasul or its dedicated mobile app.
