Temporary Lane Closure on Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway

The Ministry of Works, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior, announced that roadworks for a project linking Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway to the Riffa area, near the Roundabout 18 flyover, will require the closure of the right lane for northbound traffic heading towards Manama. Two lanes will remain open for motorists.
The ministry explained that the closure will take place from 12:30 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025, until 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
Motorists are urged to follow traffic rules and drive with caution to ensure the safety of all road users.
