Coast Guard Seizes Illegal Fishing Gear Across Bahrain

Coast Guard patrols yesterday confiscated a total of 69 illegal marine traps (gargoor), five prohibited fishing nets, and three bottom trawl nets (kufa) in separate incidents across various areas of Bahrain.
In a statement, the Coast Guard Command confirmed that all necessary legal measures have been taken in response to the violations.
The authority reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing monitoring and enforcement operations aimed at combating all forms of maritime infractions.
